Umm Al Emarat Park is hosting a special celebration to mark the Chinese New Year titled "Together in Light: 40 Years of China-UAE Friendship" from January 24 to February 1.
Umm Al Emarat Park is a space that celebrates cultural diversity and reflects the deep ties that unite the UAE with different countries around the world.
By hosting the Chinese New Year celebration, the park highlights the history of the relations between the UAE and China.
Rasha Kablawi, the official spokesperson for Umm Al Emarat Park, said the event embodies the cultural cooperation between the two countries and reflects the strategic partnership that has developed over more than four decades.
"Through this celebration, the park provides a living example of its role as a platform for communication between different cultures and highlights its position as a link between peoples and civilisations," she said.
"Art and culture are pivotal factors that have contributed significantly to strengthening bilateral relations between the UAE and China over the past forty years," Kablawi said.
She added that the event features interactive activities and a cultural bazaar, encouraging further cooperation in the fields of art, education, and tourism.
Umm Al Emarat Park is one of the most prominent entertainment and cultural landmarks in Abu Dhabi, combining a variety of cultural, educational and entertainment activities suitable for all ages.
