Abu Dhabi is set to witness an electrifying night as global music sensation Diljit Dosanjh brings his Dil-Luminati Tour to Etihad Park on Yas Island.
This highly anticipated event, organised by Saregama India and Ripple Effect Studios, marks the first time the Punjabi superstar will perform in the UAE capital with hits like "Do You Know," "Laembadgini," and "5 Taara."
Diljit Dosanjh, born on January 6, 1984, in the village of Dosanjh Kalan, Jalandhar, Punjab, India, is a celebrated singer, actor, and film producer known for his work in Punjabi and Hindi cinema.
His career began in the early 2000s with the release of his debut album "Ishq Da Uda Ada" in 2003. Diljit gained widespread recognition with his albums "Smile" (2005) and "Chocolate" (2008), which featured popular tracks like "Nachh Diyan Alran Kuwariyan" and "Paggan Pochviyan Wale."
His collaboration with Yo Yo Honey Singh on "The Next Level" (2009) further cemented his status in the Punjabi music industry.
Transitioning to acting, Diljit made his film debut with a cameo in "Mel Karade Rabba" (2010) and later starred in "The Lion of Punjab" (2011).
His performance in "Jatt & Juliet" (2012) and its sequel "Jatt & Juliet 2" (2013) were critical and commercial successes, making him a household name.
Diljit's Bollywood debut came with the crime thriller "Udta Punjab" (2016), earning him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
He continued to impress with roles in "Phillauri" (2017) and "Good Newwz" (2019), receiving accolades for his performances.
In addition to his film and music career, Diljit has been a judge on the reality show "Rising Star" and has released multiple chart-topping albums, including "G.O.A.T." (2020).

Diljit has been steadily building his presence in the UAE over the years. His debut journey in the region began with a Dubai performance in February 2016 at Al Nasr Leisureland in Oud Metha.
In March 2018, Diljit returned to Dubai to headline a special Holi show, celebrating spring, love, and new life, at the JA Al Sahra Desert Resort Equestrian Centre.
These performances solidified his popularity among the South Asian community in the UAE, showcasing his ability to connect with audiences through his energetic and soulful music.
Known for his dynamic stage presence and captivating performances, Diljit has mesmerised audiences across North America, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand with his record-breaking shows.
His North American Dil-Luminati Tour saw 13 sold-out shows, with each venue averaging around 15,000 attendees.
His Delhi concert performance at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi drew a crowd of 35,000 fans.
At his Mumbai concerts in 2023 attracted 50,000 attendees.
While his UK performances at the O2 Arena in London and the SSE Arena in Wembley, were sold out, with each venue hosting approximately 20,000 fans.
