The Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority and the Emirates Arabian Horse Society will take part in the 15th edition of the Salon du Cheval d’El Jadida in Morocco.

The horse show, held under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, will take place from October 1-6, 2024 under the theme Horse Farming in Morocco: Innovation and Challenge.

The Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority and the Emirates Arabian Horse Society will showcase their participation through a distinguished pavilion, highlighting UAE’s equestrian sector and promoting it to representatives from more than 40 Arab and non-Arab countries attending the Salon.

The pavilion will highlight the multifaceted role of the horse in Emirati heritage, showcasing traditional crafts associated with equines and UAE's initiatives to preserve Arab horses and promote heritage sports. The participation aims to strengthen national identity while sharing the values, traditions, and culture of Emirati society on a global stage.

The participation reflects the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the support of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society.

These endeavours have elevated the status of the purebred Arabian horse in the UAE and fostered a strong culture of support for owners and breeders, both within the country and beyond.

Their initiatives feature various services, activities, and events such as promoting the Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup and the upcoming WAHO Conference 2025 in Abu Dhabi.

The programmes also feature live demonstrations of traditional fabric crafts and horse saddle making. Additionally, the programme’s showcase folk arts, horse shows, and a photo exhibition, with participation from numerous governmental and private organisations in the field.
