The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MOIAT) is showcasing the capabilities of the UAE's industrial sector at the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX 2025) currently being held at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi.
Speaking to Aletihad, Osama Amir Fadhel, Assistant Undersecretary at MOIAT, discussed the ministry's participation.
"We are very pleased to participate in this edition of IDEX this year. IDEX over the past 32 years has proven to become one of the most prominent platforms when it comes to the industrial sector, particularly the defence, aerospace, and space sectors."
Fadhel further highlighted MOIAT's focus on showcasing key capabilities and products from the UAE's industrial sector.
Fadhel said the ministry showcases the UAE's industrial sector landscape and competitive advantage, promoting and attracting investments, both internal and international.
A key part of MOIAT's participation also focuses on promoting the "Make it in the Emirates" initiative.
"Through our participation here, we are promoting our 'Make it in the Emirates' initiative and especially our upcoming edition of 'Make it in the Emirates' event, which will take place here in ADNEC on May 19-22."
He reiterated the ministry's invitation to all investors, experts, and policymakers in the industrial sector to participate in the upcoming fourth edition of "Make it in the Emirates".
At their booth, MOIAT is showcasing a range of innovative products by companies that are part of the "Make it in the Emirates" campaign.
Among them include NAFFCO, a leading manufacturer & supplier of fire protection systems; Alasbar ASE Auto Development LLC; Advanced Armour Engineering (AAE); EDGE Group, as well as Ramfoam Containers Manufacturing, each contributing to the UAE's growing defence and industrial capabilities.
