DUBAI (ALETIHAD)
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai on Sunday announced the launch of the Dubai Future Research Complex, an initiative that aims to attract 30,000 researchers and specialists to establish the "world’s best environment for anticipating, preparing for, and shaping the future".
In a post on X in Arabic, His Highness said: "Life has taught me that the future is not something to be awaited, but something to be created.
The challenges nations face do not stem from the rapid pace of future developments, but rather from a slow response in preparing for and contemplating that future.
"Today, we launch the "Dubai Future Research Complex", which we have named 'Nad Zabeel'.
"Its goal is to attract 30,000 researchers and specialists to utilise its services in developing vital future sectors that impact human life."
His Highness added that Nad Zabeel will complete Dubai's strategic ecosystem for institutionalising the "industry of the future".
"It will join the Dubai Future Foundation, the Museum of the Future, the Dubai Future Academy, and others, collectively forming the world’s best environment for anticipating, preparing for, and shaping the future," His Highness said.
"A more beautiful future lies ahead, God willing."
