UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reflected on the living legacy of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in a message shared on the occasion of the Prophet's birth anniversary.
In a post on X, published in Arabic on Tuesday, His Highness the UAE President said: "On the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet (peace be upon him), we recall the values of mercy, goodwill and unity that continue to define his legacy and inspire us as we pray to God to grant stability and peace to all peoples of the world."
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, congratulated the Islamic world on the occasion and prayed for "goodness, security, safety and stability".
In an Arabic post on X, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid described the Prophet as "the best of mankind". His Highness said: "We congratulate the Islamic world on the anniversary of the birth of our Prophet, our beloved and our intercessor, Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him - the Messenger of humanity, the best of mankind, and a mercy to the worlds."
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid added: "On this blessed occasion, we pray to Almighty Allah to bring it back to the Islamic world in a state of goodness, security, safety and stability."
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, also expressed hope for lasting peace in the region in a message that highlighted the Prophet's legacy.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed said on X: "On the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet (peace be upon him), we reflect on the legacy he left behind, built on mercy, compassion, and tolerance, and one that raised goodness to a noble and enduring purpose. We hope for our nation and its people to remain ever protected, and for our region and the world to be blessed with lasting peace and security."
