The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) announced that the highest temperature recorded in the UAE on Friday was 44.5°C in Sweihan located in Al Ain region.
According to its bulletin on X, the weather bureau recorded the five highest temperatures across the country on Friday in the following areas:
- Sweihan: 44.5°C at 1:30 pm
- Mezaira: 44.4°C at 4:00 pm
- Hamim: 44.3°C at 3:00 pm
- Umm Al Gaf: 44.3°C at 2:00 pm
- Al Quaa: 44.1°C at 4:00 pm
