His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, praised the UAE education system's ability to maintain continuity despite the circumstances facing the region as students across the country resumed in-person learning on Monday.
In a statement on X in Arabic, His Highness said: "Our sons and daughters, the students, resume in-person learning today across all our universities and schools, after our education system proved its exceptional ability to maintain its full continuity despite the circumstances the region has faced."
Addressing the students, His Highness emphasised that the UAE never bows down to challenges and instead focuses on driving progress and development forward for the benefit of the country's youth.
"My message to the students: We are a nation that does not succumb to challenges. We are a nation that never stops learning and teaching. We are a nation whose progress does not halt and whose development does not stall," the statement added.
"We are a nation that believes in you and builds its future with you, for you and because of you."
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE and Chairman of the Presidential Court, stressed that the UAE leadership places education continuity at the centre of its agenda, and wished students and school staff continued success in fulfilling their duties.
"We believe that education never stops, and that challenges are met with determination and planning. With the support of our wise leadership, we ensure its continuity under all circumstances," His Highness said in a statement on X in Arabic.
"We wish every success to our sons and daughters, the students, and we commend the efforts of our teaching and administrative staff, wishing them continued success in fulfilling their mission," His Highness added.
