ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)
Etihad Airways has suspended all flights to and from Abu Dhabi until 2pm UAE time on Tuesday, March 3 due to ongoing regional airspace closures.
In an operational update, the airline confirmed that disruption continues to impact its network.
“Regional airspace closures continue to impact Etihad Airways’ operations, and all flights to and from Abu Dhabi are suspended until [2pm] UAE time on Tuesday 3 March 2026,” the airline said.
What passengers should know
Passengers due to travel are advised to:
• Check flight status before travelling to the airport
• Ensure contact details are up to date in their booking
Guests holding Etihad tickets issued on or before February 28, 2026, with original travel dates up to March 7, 2026, may rebook free of charge onto Etihad-operated flights up to March 18, 2026.
Guests on all Etihad flights until March 7 may request a full refund through the airline’s official refund request form or via their travel agent.
Passengers who booked through a travel agent are advised to contact their agent directly.
Etihad also said it is currently experiencing a high volume of calls and asked customers for patience, noting that refund requests can be submitted online.
Safety priority
“Safety remains our absolute priority, and services will operate only once all safety criteria are met,” the airline said.
Further updates are expected as developments continue.
