His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs, has shared an iftar meal with government employees and their families at Barzat Abu Dhabi, the Ramadan majlis of Abu Dhabi Government, organised by Abu Dhabi Media Office and taking place at Qasr Al Hosn until February 26, 2026.

His Highness exchanged greetings with the leaders and employees of Abu Dhabi Government entities and their families on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, and prayed for the blessed month to return with goodness and blessings for all, and for the UAE to continue to enjoy security, stability, and prosperity.

His Highness affirmed that Barzat Abu Dhabi represents a social space that strengthens communication and cohesion within the government ecosystem, bringing together government employees in a Ramadan setting that reinforces a culture of dialogue and enhances familiarity and a spirit of teamwork, reflecting the values of shared responsibility and belonging that characterise Emirati society and embody the nation’s longstanding traditions of hospitality, generosity, and warmth.

His Highness noted that organising Barzat Abu Dhabi aligns with the objectives of the Year of Family in the UAE, which promotes family cohesion and social unity, and underscores the importance of empowering families and strengthening their role in building a cohesive and thriving society.

His Highness commended initiatives that bring employees and their families together in an interactive environment that fosters closeness and reinforces bonds within government institutions.

The iftar was attended by a number of officials, employees, and their families from various entities, including the Office of Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs, the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council, The Founder’s Office, Erth Zayed Philanthropies and its affiliated institutions, as well as Etihad Rail, Abu Dhabi Transport Company, the Emirates Council for Balanced Development, the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority, and the Arab Youth Center.
