ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

The Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre (ADPIC) has concluded a four-day mission to Türkiye, connecting Turkish construction firms, developers, architects, and material manufacturers with Abu Dhabi's more than $54 billion infrastructure pipeline through strategic engagements in Ankara and Istanbul as part of the Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit (ADIS) International Roadshow.

Following the success in Singapore and Shanghai, the roadshow brought together Abu Dhabi's leading developers and government officials with Türkiye's most prominent infrastructure authorities, unlocking collaboration opportunities in large-scale construction, modular building systems, engineering consultancy, construction materials manufacturing, and PSP frameworks tailored for mixed-use developments and transportation megaprojects.

The roadshow was organised by the Turkish Contractors Associations (TCA), Association of Turkish Consulting Engineers and Architects (ATCEA), Turkish Construction Material Producers – Türkiye IMSAD, Turkish Association of Architects in Private Practice (TSMD), and the Turkish Association of Real Estate and Real Estate Investment Companies (GYODER).

The roadshow welcomed an Abu Dhabi delegation, led by Maysarah Mahmoud Salim Eid, Director General of ADPIC, including Ambassador Saeed Thani Hareb Juma Al Dhaheri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Türkiye; Mohamed Yousef Mohamed Alhosani, Executive Director of Capital Projects Governance & Planning Sector and Mohamed Husain Khalifa Alsuwaidi, Executive Director of Capital Projects, Financial Affairs Sector at ADPIC; Eisa Mubarak Almazrouei, Acting Director General of Infrastructure Development, and Abdulhadi Almansoori, Acting Executive Director of Al Dhafra Infrastructure Development at Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT); and Eid Alobeidli, Director of Musataha & PPP and Sara Eissa Alhosani, Industrial Development Chief Specialist at Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO).

Eid, said: “The ADIS Roadshow connects Abu Dhabi’s $54 billion infrastructure portfolio with global markets that excel in the future of city-making. Singapore is a pioneer in digital innovation; China is a leader in modular manufacturing; and Türkiye stands out with its engineering strength, construction materials expertise and world-class contractors. Our goal is not only to attract investment but to build long-term, value-driven partnerships with nations that share our commitment to sustainable, smart and future-ready infrastructure.”

Senior government officials were joined by representatives from Abu Dhabi's leading entities including Yaser Al Nuaimi, Chief Delivery Officer and Asma Al Jassmi, Executive Director, Project Controls and Operations of Aldar Projects; Ahmad Ayyad, Executive Director, Operations  of Modon Real Estate; Carlos Wakim, Chief Executive Officer of Bloom Holding; Muhye Dein Mansour, Chief Development Officer of LEAD Development; Marc Milosevic, Chief Executive Officer of Gridora, presenting their master plan pipelines and outlined opportunities for cooperation across residential, industrial, tourism, waterfront and mixed-use projects.

In both cities, the programme featured high-level presentations from leading Turkish entities to showcase Türkiye’s global supply capabilities, major projects delivered domestically and internationally.

Alongside the main sessions, more than 30 targeted B2B meetings were held between Abu Dhabi delegates and senior executives from Türkiye’s construction and engineering sectors, enabling deeper exploration of joint venture models, supply chain partnerships and investment synergies.

Turkish entities, include Doğuş Construction, SUMMA, ONUR, GAP İNŞAAT, IC Ictas, Gülermak, Tolga AKKAS, and leading bodies representing architects, consultants and real estate investors, highlighted the country's proven capabilities in delivering airports, ports, stadiums, rail systems, industrial complexes and global urban developments.

The roadshow also included a series of strategic site visits that demonstrated Türkiye’s engineering and manufacturing strengths. In Ankara, delegates toured Dorce’s Modular Steel Structure Manufacturing Facility and the Ankara Stadium Project. In Istanbul, the delegation visited the Eurasia Tunnel Command Center, a globally recognised benchmark in tunnel engineering and Galataport Istanbul, including the world’s first underground cruise terminal, where Doğuş Construction presented the project’s development model.

As the final chapter of the ADIS international series, the Türkiye roadshow underscored the collective impact and momentum generated across all three markets.

The inaugural roadshow in Singapore resulted in seven strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoU), followed by two additional MoUs signed in China, unlocking collaboration in modular construction systems, industrialised building technologies and AI-driven smart city applications.

Together, the three roadshows have positioned Abu Dhabi as a catalyst for global infrastructure cooperation, strengthening ties across Asia and Europe and opening new opportunities for partnership in the delivery of next-generation, sustainable and future-ready capital projects.
