Dubai Police have called on drivers to take extra care on the roads due to expected rainy and unstable weather conditions.
Motorists have been urged to follow all traffic laws and safety measures, reduce speed, maintain a safe distance from other vehicles, and stay fully focused on the road at all times.
Dubai Police also confirmed full readiness to respond to emergency reports, including traffic accidents during rainfall or incidents in mountainous areas and valleys. The public is meanwhile strongly advised to avoid water channels and valleys, prioritising personal and public safety.
The call for caution also extends to boat owners and sea-goers, including those using boats, ships, yachts, and other marine vessels, who are encouraged to closely monitor weather updates and strictly follow safety instructions to ensure safe navigation at sea.
Dubai Police reminded the public to contact the Command-and-Control Centre at 999 in emergencies, and 901 for non-emergency cases, wishing everyone continued safety and well-being.
