ABU DHABI ( ALETIHAD)
As part of its winter campaign, Abu Dhabi Police (ADP) urged parents to engage their children in sports, social, cultural, and volunteer activities during the winter break.
Authorities warned that too much free time and boredom can lead youth to take the first steps toward negative behaviour and lose their sense of direction.
A video shared on ADP's social media platforms emphasised the importance of using free time wisely, with the message, “Don’t let free time steal your future.”
It highlighted that free time is not meant for boredom, but is an opportunity to develop skills, improve health, and expand social networks.
The campaign encourages young people to participate in sports, community events, and voluntary work while choosing friends wisely and avoiding negative influences.
Abu Dhabi Police urged families to take proactive steps to ensure a safe and secure future for their children.
