The National Centre of Meteorology has said parts of the UAE may experience intermittent rainfall from Wednesday onwards, with a series of days marked by cloudy skies.
In a bulletin sent on Tuesday, the national weather bureau said the country is set to experience a surface low-pressure trough extending from the southeast starting Wednesday, November 26, which will coincide with an upper-level low-pressure system accompanied by a cold air mass and an upper westerly airflow. These weather systems, which will last at least until Saturday, November 29, are expected to influence cloud development.
Skies are therefore expected to be cloudy, with a chance of intermittent rainfall over some coastal, northern, and eastern areas.
Winds during the period will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed, and can occasionally become active, causing blowing dust.
Over the period, the Arabian Gulf will see slight to moderate waves, and there will be slight waves in the Sea of Oman.
