A special vehicle number plate has been auctioned for over Dh18 million in Abu Dhabi.
The Abu Dhabi Physical Auction for Special Number Plates, organised by the Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility) in collaboration with Emirates Auction, was held on November 22, offering 33 distinctive numbers for standard vehicles, classic cars and motorbikes.

The event drew notable attendance and strong engagement from enthusiasts and investors, reflecting the growing interest in special number plates in Abu Dhabi.
According to a video posted by AD Mobility on social media, special number plate 3 was auctioned for a whopping Dh18.7 million during the event held at Emirates Palace Hotel.
The auction included Number 3 (Category 2) and Number 10 (Category 12), among other exceptional selections.
The auction falls under the strategic partnership between Emirates Auction and the Integrated Transport Centre and supports their shared vision of enhancing the distinguished number plate acquisition experience through professional, transparent auctions that meet public demand for unique licence plates at competitive prices.
Abdullah Saleh Abdullah, Acting Executive Director of the Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Sector at the Integrated Transport Centre, said that launching this new bundle of distinguished numbers comes within the Centre’s keenness to provide advanced experiences in the transport sector and to meet the public’s interest.
