The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) continues its participation in the 44th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair, which runs at the Expo Centre Sharjah from November 5 to 16, 2025, under the theme “Between You and the Book.” The participation forms part of its ongoing efforts to promote legal culture and deliver awareness messages through innovative and engaging methods.
In a statement on Thursday, ADJD stated that this initiative aims to strengthen legal awareness among all segments of society, recognising it as a key pillar in upholding the rule of law. It reflects the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, to enhance communication with the community and deepen legal knowledge. These efforts contribute to building an informed society that supports the nation’s sustainable development goals.
At its exhibition stand, the ADJD showcases a selection of printed and digital legal publications covering the latest legislation and specialised judicial and legal studies. In addition, a range of public awareness materials is available, tailored to various segments of society.
The Abu Dhabi Legal and Community Awareness Centre “Masouliya” (Responsibility) is also presenting a series of interactive educational activities designed to promote legal literacy, prevent cybercrime, and highlight the legal responsibilities associated with the safe use of social media platforms. These initiatives aim to reinforce positive online behaviour and protect the community from potential risks.
The Department’s stand further features an introduction to the services of the Juvenile Care Administration, part of the Rehabilitation and Correctional Centres Sector, which focuses on rehabilitating young offenders and equipping them with essential life skills. The initiative underscores ADJD’s commitment to positive social reintegration and the cultivation of constructive values among youth.
