Abu Dhabi Media, the UAE’s leading media group, on Monday organised a celebration to mark Flag Day, which is annually celebrated on November 3, at its headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
The flag-raising ceremony was held in a solemn national atmosphere, reflecting unity, belonging, and loyalty to the nation and its wise leadership.
The company’s platforms reported on the most prominent Flag Day events through a series of live coverage of activities organised across the country, in line with its strategic objectives of highlighting the nation’s vision and achievements, supporting the aspirations of the Emirati community, and promoting values rooted in human development, progress and tolerance.
The event brought together Abu Dhabi Media employees in front of the Radio and Television Building, where the UAE flag was raised at exactly 11 am, accompanied by the national anthem.
The atmosphere reflected pride in what the occasion represents as an enduring symbol in the hearts of the nation’s people, and reaffirmed national cohesion under one flag and one leadership.
The Year of Community, which continues in the UAE under the slogan “Hand in Hand” since the beginning of 2025, added special significance to this year’s celebration.
The national initiative reflects the leadership’s vision for building a cohesive and prosperous society, reinforcing values of cooperation, solidarity and belonging, and highlighting the spirit of shared responsibility that strengthens family and societal bonds while supporting the nation’s goal of a united community in which every individual contributes to development and progress.
Loyalty and Belonging
On this occasion, Rashed Al Qubaisi, CEO of Abu Dhabi Media Company, said, “Year after year, Flag Day embodies the highest ideals of unity, loyalty, and belonging to the United Arab Emirates – its government, people, and residents – as we confidently move forward under the banner of our wise leadership towards a more prosperous future. This is evident today, and every day, through our dedication to the nation’s message through our extensive coverage that projects its bright and progressive image across diverse forums and fields.”
The event concluded with an emphasis on continuing efforts to embody the vision of the wise leadership in consolidating the values of unity, love and loyalty to the homeland.
