Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court, has attended the launch of the 12th Million’s Poet at Al Raha Beach Theatre in Abu Dhabi, organised by Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed praised the show, which champions Abu Dhabi’s cultural vision, while preserving the UAE’s literary heritage, and affirmed its role in discovering and nurturing poetic talents, promoting Arabic literary heritage and safeguarding it for future generations.
He further noted that Million’s Poet is one of the Arab world’s largest Nabati poetry competitions, and praised its role in enhancing Abu Dhabi’s position as a global destination for literary and poetic creativity and supporting GCC cultural identity.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan was accompanied by Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority; Abdulla Mubarak Al Muhairi, Acting Director General of the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority; and Mohamed Juma Al Mansouri.
