The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) announced that the highest temperature recorded in the UAE on Sunday was 42.7°C in Sweihan, located in Al Ain region of Abu Dhabi at 3:45pm local time.
According to its bulletin on X, the weather bureau recorded the five highest temperatures across the country on Sunday in the following areas:
- Sweihan: 42.7°C at 3:45pm
- Al Jazeera B.G.: 42.4°C at 3:45pm
- Madinat Zayed: 41.6°C at 3:15pm
- Owtaid: 41.4°C at 2:15pm
- Raknah: 41.2°C at 3:00pm
