The emirate of Abu Dhabi just opened another night beach this summer.

In line with its commitment to enhancing community well-being and improving quality of life, the Department of Municipalities and Transport, represented by Abu Dhabi City Municipality, has inaugurated the Night Beach at Abu Dhabi Corniche.

The beach offers the public the opportunity to enjoy nighttime swimming in a safe environment, equipped with comprehensive lighting, professional lifeguard teams, first-aid services, and courts for volleyball, beach football, and basketball.

The Night Beach welcomes visitors from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm on weekdays, and until midnight on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

Entry fees

The fees are: Dh10.5 for adults, Dh5.25 for children, and Dh26.25 for beach chairs.

The beach has a no pets policy, according to a reply by Abu Dhabi Municipality to a comment.

Earlier, Abu Dhabi’s first night beach opened in July of this year, inviting residents and visitors to enjoy a swim under the stars on Hudayriat Island’s Marsana East this summer.

Marsana East Beach opened for night swimmers on Tuesday and will operate for a limited time until September 30.

From Monday to Thursday, visitors can swim from sunset until 10pm, with tickets priced at Dh50 for those aged 12 and above, and Dh25 for children aged six to 11.

On weekends, Friday to Sunday, and on public holidays, the beach stays open until midnight, with entry priced at Dh100 for adults and Dh50 for children. Entry is free for children under five on all days.
