Abu Dhabi Media, the UAE’s leading media company, on Thursday marked Emirati Women’s Day 2025 under the theme “Hand in Hand, We Celebrate 50 Years”, launched under the directives of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the Mother of the Nation, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the General Women’s Union. The special event coincided with the launch of the “Mother of the Nation 50:50 Vision” in the Year of Community.
The event, held at the Aletihad newspaper building, reflected the company’s commitment to honouring Emirati women as key partners in the nation’s development. It also highlighted women’s contributions to building a cohesive and thriving society and celebrated their inspiring success stories.
