MUDHI ALOBTHANI (ABU DHABI)
Out of her passion for beauty, makeup artist Ayeda Alobthani has built her own brand. Now, she seeks to inspire other young Emirati women to step out of their comfort zone and turn what-ifs into success stories.
Alobthani started her venture without any business experience and it turned out to be the most significant milestone in her career so far.
“That decision taught me the value of courage, responsibility, and believing in my own vision,” she said.
Besides running her successful business, she now also mentors young women, helping them launch their own brands. Many of her clients have gone on to start their own ventures after learning from her experience.
Alobthani draws inspiration from the vision of the UAE leadership, which continuously supports women, and from Emirati women who break barriers and create opportunities for others. “Success is not only personal, but also collective,” she said.
On Emirati Women’s Day, she leaves some words of encouragement for her peers: “Believe in yourself and take the first step. Every successful project, brand, or career starts with courage. You already carry the strength of generations before you—trust it, and create your own mark in this world.”
