The Dhafra Police Directorate’s Al-Dhannah Police Station, under Abu Dhabi Police’s Criminal Security Directorate, in cooperation with ADNOC, organised a “Back to School” initiative.
The event comes within the framework of community partnership aimed at instilling traffic discipline values and raising security awareness among students and parents at the start of the new academic year.
Director of Al-Dhannah Police Station, Colonel Hamid Salem Al Mansoori, emphasised that the initiative aligns with Abu Dhabi Police’s efforts to promote traffic and security awareness, providing students with guidance on safe behaviours while commuting to and from school.
He noted that enhancing traffic safety requires the combined efforts of all partners.
The event included the distribution of gifts to students, educational brochures, and informative sessions for parents on traffic guidelines and the importance of adhering to road safety laws, helping reduce accidents, and protect students.
Deputy Director for Operations Affairs, Colonel Dr. Mansour Nasser Al Kaabi, praised the cooperation between Al-Dhannah Police and ADNOC in organising such community initiatives, stressing that institutional partnerships help deliver awareness messages to the widest possible audience and support Abu Dhabi Police’s strategic goals of strengthening security and safety.
He thanked ADNOC for its ongoing support of such initiatives that reinforce the concept of social responsibility, noting that Abu Dhabi Police will continue to organise similar events across different areas to ensure a safe school environment for students.
The Community Police Department also took part through its “We Are All Police” team, whose members delivered interactive awareness activities that highlighted the role of the community as a key partner in promoting safety culture and underscored the importance of collective efforts in protecting students and ensuring a secure learning environment.
