The Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) has launched its summer edition of School Break Camps, offering a diverse set of learning opportunities for students across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra.
The programme aims to provide an engaging and enriching holiday experience that nurtures lifelong learning through hands-on, project-based activities.
This year’s initiative includes more than 60 camps developed in collaboration with leading organisations and shaped by feedback from previous editions.
The camps are designed to cater to a wide range of student interests and abilities, including dedicated programmes for Students of Determination.
From culinary and creative arts to literacy and sports, parents can select from camps such as Culinary Arts by ICCA, Art Explorers and Mobile Art Programme by Brainy n Bright in collaboration with Kenaz, Transformative Journalism by Storm, Arabic Heroes by Beit Arabi Centre, and Arabic Literacy by Al Mubarakah Foundation.
A wide array of sports camps also feature in the programme.
Haraka Fitness is hosting a five-day Multi Sports Camp combining touch rugby, tennis, netball, cricket, badminton, and dodgeball.
Specialised camps include a Football Camp by Pass Academy, a Wrestling Camp by the UAE Wrestling Federation, and a Unified Basketball Camp by Storm, which provides inclusive basketball training.
New this year are future-readiness-focused camps that promote 21st-century skills, including Young Business Leaders by Storm, Financial Literacy by Zoud, and Future Careers by Pole Position in collaboration with Hashtat.
High school students also have access to advanced AI and technology camps in partnership with top-tier universities.
These include the Build What’s Next Camp by Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, Ektashef Camp by Khalifa University, Future Tech Explorers Camp by Abu Dhabi University, and the Energy & AI Bootcamp by IIT Delhi – Abu Dhabi.
UAE University in Al Ain is offering camps in 3D design, data science, and prompt engineering.
Students can also take part in one of 42 Abu Dhabi’s intensive bootcamps, which adopt a peer-to-peer, hands-on approach, including the AI Summer Camp, Discovery Piscine - Python, Al Ain Piscine, Literacy Unlocked: Powered by AI Camp, Generative AI & Prompt Engineering Camp in collaboration with Brainy n Bright, and Khalifa Fund Venturists Camp in collaboration with Khalifa Fund.
Alongside these, parents can also browse from 33 additional camps delivered by trusted industry organisers, curated to ensure every student enjoys a relevant and enriching experience for their child.
