The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) announced that the highest temperature recorded in the UAE on Thursday was 48.8°C in Sweihan located in Al Ain region at 12:45 local time.
According to NCM's post on X, below are the five highest temperatures recorded across the country on Thursday:
- Sweihan: 48.8 at 12:45
- Al Dhaid: 48 at 13:15
- Saih Al Salem: 47.9 at 14:15
- Mezaira: 47.8 at 15:15
- Al Arad: 47.7 at 14:15
