The Marine Rescue Section at the Ports Police Station successfully recovered a tourist's valuable necklace that had fallen into the waters of Dubai's Hatta Dam.
Acting Director of the Ports Police Station, Colonel Ali Abdullah Al Naqbi, stated that the Command and Control Centre at the General Department of Operations received a report from a tourist in Hatta about the loss.
Marine rescue teams promptly initiated a search and were able to retrieve the necklace and return it to the tourist.
Colonel Al Naqbi emphasised that while the primary duties of the Marine Rescue Unit involve responding to emergencies, accidents, and marine incidents, the team always strives to go beyond expectations to bring joy to the public.
He urged the public to avoid carrying valuable items during water activities.
The tourist expressed deep appreciation to Dubai Police for their swift response and dedication, noting how seriously and professionally his report was handled.
