In line with the Year of Community and during a Ramadan Majlis gathering, TRENDS Research & Advisory honoured Sheikh Mohammed Hamad bin Rakkad Al Ameri and his distinguished Majlis in Al Ain to appreciate his constructive efforts and continuous support for knowledge. The event witnessed a significant presence of community, academic, and media figures in the esteemed Majlis.
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, accompanied by several sector heads, department directors, and researchers, presented Sheikh Mohammed Hamad bin Rakkad Al Ameri with the Centre’s honorary shield. He was also gifted a collection of the Centre's latest research publications across various fields, including the notable book The Pearl Era: From Poverty to Prosperity.
This book analyses the historical cycles that shaped the region on which the United Arab Emirates was founded, tracing its journey from the pre-pearl era to the oil era while highlighting the localisation and flourishing of the pearl industry in the region.
Sheikh Mohammed Hamad bin Rakkad Al Ameri expressed his gratitude and appreciation to TRENDS Research & Advisory for this recognition, stating that such an honour from a prestigious research institution reflects the commitment to supporting knowledge.
"We strongly believe in the vital role of Majlis sessions in fostering communication and exchanging ideas.
