The National Center of Meteorology has issued a weather alert for parts of the UAE, including the emirate of Abu Dhabi, from Saturday night until Sunday morning.
In an advisory issued on Saturday, the NCM said there is a chance of fog formation with a deterioration in horizontal visibility, which may drop even further at times over some internal and coastal areas from 11:30 pm on Saturday, March 15, until 9:00 am on Sunday, March 16.
Abu Dhabi Police also issued an advisory for motorists - amid yellow and red weather alert - to exercise caution due to reduced visibility, urging them to follow changing speed limits (80 kmph) displayed on electronic information boards.
