NCM Issues weather update from Friday to Tuesday

ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

The National Center of Meteorology has issued a weather forecast covering the period from February 14 to February 18.

Friday

Weather: Humidity is expected in the mornings over some coastal areas. The weather will be fair to partly cloudy, with occasional cloudiness and a chance of light rainfall over islands and various coastal areas. A gradual decrease in temperatures will be especially noticeable in the western regions.  

Wind: Light to moderate northeasterly to northwesterly winds, at times becoming fresh, will cause blowing dust, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/h, potentially reaching up to 40 km/h.  

Sea: Conditions will be slight to moderate, possibly becoming rough in the Arabian Gulf, and slight in the Oman Sea.

Saturday  

Weather: Morning humidity is expected over some inland areas, with a possibility of fog or mist formation. The forecast predicts partly cloudy to cloudy conditions at night, particularly along the coasts and in northern areas, along with another decrease in temperatures.  

Wind: Light to moderate northeasterly to northwesterly winds, fresh at times, with speeds from 10 to 25 mph, reaching up to 40 km/h.  

Sea: Conditions will be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.

Sunday  

Weather: Morning humidity is likely over some inland areas, with a chance of mist formation. Expect partly cloudy to cloudy conditions, with a likelihood of light rainfall over islands and some northern and coastal areas.  

Wind: Light to moderate northeasterly to northwesterly winds, fresh at times, causing blowing dust, with speeds between 10 and 25 km/h, reaching up to 40 km/h.  

Sea: Conditions will be moderate to slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

Monday  

Weather: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected, with a chance of rainfall in some areas, especially the coastal, northern, and eastern regions. Temperatures are likely to increase.  

Wind: Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds, fresh at times, may cause blowing dust, with speeds from 10 to 25 km/h, reaching up to 40 km/h.  

Sea: Conditions will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.

Tuesday  

Weather: Morning humidity is anticipated over some inland areas, with a chance of mist formation. Expect partly cloudy to cloudy conditions, with a possibility of rainfall over some coastal, northern, and western regions.  

Wind: Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds, fresh at times, could lead to blowing dust, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/h, reaching 35 km/h.  

Sea: Conditions will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
