The 50th edition of Arab Health, the Middle East's largest healthcare event, will open on Monday at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), with an expanded agenda and platform. Running from January 27 to 30, 2025, the event aims to celebrate innovation, collaboration, and education, and is set to attract 3,800 exhibitors and more than 60,000 visitors.

This year's event is promising to be the largest yet, featuring exhibitors from over 80 countries, including major players like GE Healthcare, Siemens Healthineers, Philips, and regional leaders such as PureHealth and Mubadala Health. The UAE will be represented by more than 200 companies, showcasing advancements across nine product sectors, including medical devices, diagnostics, and wellness.

"The event remains more relevant than ever, providing a vital platform where industry leaders can come together to address challenges and seize new opportunities in healthcare," Ross Williams, Exhibition Director for Informa Markets, said in a statement.

"This year, we have a range of new show features and conferences, the return of several popular events, and some big announcements to look forward to."

The event will launch new initiatives including the "The Eco-Sphere", which will focus on sustainability in healthcare. "The World of Wellness" is expected to explore trends such as longevity, wellness wearables, and genomics. Furthermore, the Future Health Summit at the Museum of the Future will bring global leaders together to discuss transformative ideas, with speakers from MBZUAI, Google, and Amazon.

Attendees can also engage with emerging trends at the Transformation Zone, which will host Healthcare Transformation Talks and the Innov8 Start-up competition, offering a $10,000 prize. The event is hoping to build upon last year's record-breaking initiative which saw deals exceeding Dh9 billion signed throughout the week.

"These events not only contribute to economic growth, but also reinforce Dubai's commitment to providing opportunities for networking, professional development, and knowledge exchange, helping to shape the future of key sectors," Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, said in a statement.

The conference is set to also feature a wide array of educational opportunities for healthcare professionals which will include 10 CME-accredited conferences. Topics will include radiology, general surgery, infection control, and the inaugural HAYAT Annual Organ Donation and Transplantation Congress.

"Arab Health is a forum where healthcare professionals across the globe gather and learn together. Offering accredited continuing education in this setting helps educate participants according to the highest standards for quality, integrity and independence from commercial influence," James K. Stoller, MD, MS, Chief of Education at Cleveland Clinic, said in a statement.
