FUJAIRAH (WAM)
His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and the Ruler of Fujairah, received Dr. Hamad Al Kaabi, Chief Aletihad News Center Officer, and his accompanying delegation at Al Rumaila palace.
During the meeting, His Highness received a collection of rare photographs from Abu Dhabi Media Network, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of his Accession to the Throne of the Emirate.
His Highness the Ruler of Fujairah emphasised the role of the media in highlighting the rich cultural and social heritage of the UAE in general, and Fujairah in particular, and ensuring its preservation across generations.
His Highness also pointed out the importance of enhancing cooperation between media and cultural organisations to convey the historical and cultural image of the UAE and its authentic heritage.
Artificial Intelligence
The meeting reviewed a series of strategic plans, including artificial intelligence systems, virtual and augmented reality technologies, and media robots used at Abu Dhabi Media Network, a pioneer in the media industry and among the first in the region to adopt digital innovation. Abu Dhabi Media Network plays a key role in developing the media landscape by adopting the latest technologies and smart systems.
Youth Empowerment
Dr. Al Kaabi congratulated His Highness on the 50th anniversary of his Accession to the Throne, expressing his deep gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception and His Highness’s continuous and unwavering support for the media sector in the country.
He also praised His Highness’s continuous efforts in encouraging young people to work with all local and international media institutions, fostering a dynamic and integrated work environment that significantly contributes to the advancement of the media sector and culture in the UAE.
Dr. Al Kaabi reaffirmed Abu Dhabi Media Network’s commitment to expanding its digital presence across various platforms, ensuring broader reach and thereby enhancing its performance. He highlighted the network’s role as a leading media institution that blends tradition with modernity.
