The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) released a report on the weather forecast on Sunday up until December 19, 2024.
On Sunday, the NCM predicts humid weather conditions by morning over some internal areas along with partly cloudy to cloudy skies at times. Dusty weather with low clouds is expected in some Eastern and Northern areas with chances of light rainfall and a decrease in temperatures. Winds are expected to be light to moderate Southwesterly to Northwesterly, which could be fresh to strong at times over the sea. Winds will also carry dust and sand during daytime over the land at speeds of 15 – 30 km/hr reaching 50 km/hr at times. As for sea conditions, they are expected to be rough to very rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
On Monday, the humid weather conditions will persist in some internal areas along with partly cloudy to cloudy skies. It is expected to be dusty at times with low clouds appearing over some Eastern and Northern areas, leading to light rain in certain islands. Light to moderate Northwesterly to Northeasterly winds are expected at speeds of 15 – 25 km/hr reaching 40 km/hr at times. Sea conditions are expected to be rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and moderate turning rough at times in the Oman Sea.
On Tuesday, it will be humid with the probability of fog or mist formation by morning over some internal areas. Skies are expected to be fair to partly cloudy, with low clouds appearing over some Western areas and islands. Light to moderate Northeasterly to Southeasterly winds are expected at speeds of 15 – 25 km/hr, reaching 40 km/hr at times. Sea conditions will be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
On Wednesday, weather conditions will continue to be humid with a probability of mist formation by morning over some internal areas. Skies will be fair to partly cloudy, along with light to moderate Northwesterly winds with speeds of 15 – 25 km/hr reaching 45 km/hr at times. Rough conditions are expected in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
On Thursday, weather conditions will be humid by morning over some internal areas, with fair to partly cloudy skies. Northwesterly winds will be light to moderate with speeds of 15 – 25 km/hr reaching 40 km/hr at times. Rough conditions will prevail in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
