The UAE Embassy in the People's Republic of China has hosted a reception to celebrate the 53rd Eid Al Etihad in the presence of Shohrat Zakir, the Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC).
The event was led by Hussein Ibrahim Al Hamadi, UAE Ambassador to China, along with embassy staff and the military attaché.
Also in attendance were a number of officials from the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, senior diplomats, heads of Arab, Islamic, and foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Beijing, as well as prominent figures from the finance, business, investment, and media sectors, representatives from scientific, commercial, and cultural institutions, along with UAE citizens and students studying in Chinese universities and institutes.
The ceremony began with playing the national anthems of the UAE and China.
In his inaugural remarks, Ambassador Al Hamadi welcomed the guests and thanked them for sharing this cherished national occasion with the UAE.
"Today, we celebrate the 53rd Eid Al Etihad and the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the UAE and the People's Republic of China."
The attendees toured the exhibition held alongside the celebration, which showcased photographs and publications chronicling the UAE's journey of progress and development, both past and ongoing.
The event featured a documentary highlighting the UAE's achievements, complemented by cultural performances from both nations.
Traditional Yola dances by Emirati folk troupes and Chinese folkloric shows impressed the audience.
