Aletihad spoke to several Emiratis and asked about their plans for the National Day celebrations.
Hamed Al Hamed, the founder of Gracia Group and Chairman of the Emirates Agricultural Pioneers Association, said, "We have conducted events celebrating UAE National Day at our Gracia Farm for three days, including the traditional performing art 'Al-Razfa', Agri-tourism, children's painting and drawing activities, and playtime with animals. These events are in addition to our usual activities."
Worood Al Hammadi, from Abu Dhabi, said, "I am keen to watch the live broadcast of the UAE National Day celebrations from wherever I am."
Mariam Al Dhanhani, from Fujairah, said, "We celebrate with a gathering at a family heritage camp in the Al-Faqit area of Dibba Al Fujairah, where all families come together in traditional dress and bring traditional food."
Athari AlSerkal, an engineer, said, "These days are the most beautiful days of the year. We make sure to be together for family gatherings and celebrate this occasion that is dear to our hearts. We decorate our homes, tell our children the story of the union. As a mother, I make sure to instill in my children the love of our homeland, and for its sake, we do everything that is precious and valuable."
Ayesha Al Mansoori, a falconer, said, "We are keen on going on falconry trips."
Photographer Salem Alsawafi said, "This year's participation is different, as I am taking part in the 10th anniversary of the National Service Law (Ministry of Defence) 'Waqfat Walaa' (Stand of Loyalty) Parade, which will feature the largest display of Armed Forces personnel ever held in the UAE."
Poet Saif Al Harthi said, "As a national poet, I had the honour of participating in this national commemoration by presenting poems that express the highest values of loyalty and belonging. I shared these poems at many government organisations and educational institutions, where they left a positive mark on me and others, enhancing the feeling of pride and belonging to our country and our great leader."
Female composer, Eman Al Hashimi said, "I will be holding a concert at Emirates Palace on the 2nd of December, where the school children's choir will perform the UAE national anthem, along with a selection of Emirati folk songs, to celebrate UAE National Day."

Free Entry to Iconic Abu Dhabi Attractions
To mark this special occasion, the government is waiving entry fees to three of the UAE's premier attractions on December 2: Louvre Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Hosn and Jebel Hafit Desert Park.
Other key sites in the city will remain free of charge, including Bait Mohamed Bin Khalifa, Al Jahili Fort, Qasr Al Muwaiji, Al Ain Oasis, Al Qattara Arts Center, Cultural Foundation, House of Artisans, The Founder's Memorial, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Wahat Al Karama, Heritage Village and Manarat Sadiyaat.
Mother of the Nation (MOTN) Festival
Taking place in Al Mugheirah Bay and Al Ain, the MOTN Festival offers a cosmic twist to this year's celebrations with a space-themed experience.
This family-friendly event features Instagram-worthy moments, star-studded concerts and numerous activities.
Visitors can expect performances from regional stars such as Assad Al Bat'hari, Hamad Al Ameri, Eida Al Menhali, and Harbi Al Ameri during the festival, which runs until December 2.
The Fort Under the Stars at Qasr Al Hosn
The Qasr Al Hosn site hosted "The Fort Under the Stars," a magical family-friendly evening where visitors can explore the rich heritage of this iconic fort, on December 1.
On December 6, a concert titled "Melodic Memories" will celebrate UAE national pride with a melodic tribute to the country's unity.
Traditional Rowing Race at Breakwater
Celebrate the UAE's maritime heritage with the Eid Al Etihad Traditional Rowing Race at Breakwater on Abu Dhabi Corniche.
Taking place at 3 pm on December 2, this exciting race features 40-foot traditional wooden boats, offering a unique insight into the UAE's sailing history.
Cultural Markets & Artisan Exhibitions
For those looking to bring home a piece of Emirati culture, Manarat Al Saadiyat and Souq Al Qattara will host outdoor markets featuring local artisans, food stalls and retail brands.
Manarat Al Saadiyat will open its market from December 1 to 4, while Souq Al Qattara is celebrating with traditional performances and handicraft demonstrations until December 3.
Bait Mohammed Bin Khalifa and Al Ain Oasis
Over in Al Ain, Bait Mohammed Bin Khalifa will host a blend of traditional performances, Emirati heritage games, and artisan workshops from December 2 to 3.
Meanwhile, the Al Ain Oasis will be hosting the live-streamed 53rd Eid Al Etihad ceremony on December 2 at 6 pm, allowing everyone to join in the official celebrations wherever they may be.
The Heart of the Community at Qasr Al Hosn
Running daily until December 15, the "Heart of the Community" pop-up at Qasr Al Hosn offers something for everyone, from children's activities and food stalls to local crafts and small businesses.
Just next door, The House of Artisans will host "The Journey: A Sadu Experience", a temporary exhibition on Sadu weaving in Emirati culture, which will run daily from 4pm onwards until December15.
