Authorities in Abu Dhabi will restrict movement of trucks on Friday, starting from December 6, 2024.
The Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility), in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters and under the umbrella of the Higher Traffic Safety Committee, announces that the truck movement restriction times during the evening peak period in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi will be adjusted on Fridays only.
The new restriction will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, starting from December 6, 2024, according to a statement issued.
Other peak times during the weekdays will remain unchanged.
This step aims to reduce traffic congestion and prevent interference between heavy and light vehicles, which will help improve traffic flow and enhance road safety.
