H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, on Thursday attended the celebrations of the 53rd Eid Al Etihad held by the National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah PSC (RAK BANK), in the presence of senior officials, board members, CEOs, and employees from various sectors and branches of the bank, held at the bank’s headquarters.
H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi emphasised that Eid Al Etihad is a cherished occasion for all citizens, during which we remember with great appreciation and gratitude the sacrifices of the founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and his fellow founding fathers, who made tremendous efforts to establish the Union and build a bright future for the United Arab Emirates.
He added that the UAE’s continuous achievements under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan are a reflection of the foresight and historic decisions made by the founders on 2nd December, 53 years ago. He stressed the importance of continuing this path to achieve further progress and prosperity, while enhancing the country’s position regionally and globally.
The celebration included a range of national activities that highlighted pride in the Emirati identity, including cultural and artistic performances expressing the spirit of unity and belonging to the nation.
