Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, met with His Excellency Faustin-Archange Touadéra, President of the Central African Republic, in the capital, Bangui, to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries across areas of mutual interest.

Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, to President Touadéra along with their wishes for further progress and prosperity for the government and people of the Central Africa Republic.

For his part, President Touadéra conveyed his greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, and expressed his wishes for further development and growth for the government and people of the UAE.

The two sides discussed ways to advance ties between the UAE and the Central African Republic, and their development across various fields.

Furthermore, both sides affirmed their mutual commitment toward continuously supporting cooperation and reinforcing the existing partnership between the two countries to achieve their shared interests.

Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan underscored that relations between the UAE and the Central African Republic continue to strengthen, highlighting numerous opportunities that would serve the interests of both countries and peoples.
