NCM issues safety measures for drivers during rain

ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

The National Centre of Meteorology ((NCM) shared a video on X, in which it included safety measures for drivers to follow when it rains.

The centre called on drivers to avoid driving unless absolutely necessary. If it is necessary, it advised them to drive with caution, as well as remain vigilant and alert to ensure the safety of all road users. 

The NCM noted that low-beam lights should be switched on when visibility is compromised. 

Additionally, drivers were advised to monitor the weather forecast through the official channels and always comply all instructions issued by the relevant authorities.
