The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued the weather forecast for October 18-23.
Friday
NCM issued a yellow weather alert about rainy and windy conditions from 10:15pm on October 18, Friday, till October 19, Saturday, morning.
In an advisory posted on X, formerly Twitter, NCM said: "A chance of convective cloud formation associated with rainfall and fresh to strong winds at times with a speed of 45kmph over some Western areas from 22:15 on Friday until 06:00am on Saturday."
Saturday
WEATHER: Fair to partly cloudy with chance of some convective cloud formation over some Eastern and Western areas with a probability of rainfall.
WIND: Light to moderate Northeasterly to Northwesterly winds, freshening at times during daytime, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40kmph.
SEA: Slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
Sunday
WEATHER: Humid over some coastal and internal areas with a probability of mist formation by morning – fair to partly cloudy with clouds appearing Eastward and Southward that may be convective.
WIND: Light to moderate Southeasterly becoming Northwesterly winds, freshening at times during daytime, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40kmph.
SEA: Slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
Monday
WEATHER: Humid over some coastal and internal areas with a probability of fog or mist formation by morning – fair to partly cloudy at times – clouds appear Eastwards, may be convective.
WIND: Light to moderate Southeasterly becoming Northwesterly winds, freshening at times during daytime, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 35kmph.
SEA: Slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
Tuesday
WEATHER: Humid over some coastal and internal areas with a probability of fog or mist formation by morning – fair to partly cloudy at times – clouds appear Eastwards, may be convective by afternoon with decrease in temperature over Western coasts.
WIND: Light to moderate Southeasterly becoming Northwesterly winds, freshening gradually, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40kmph.
SEA: Slight to moderate, becoming rough gradually Westward by evening in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea.
Wednesday
WEATHER: Humid over some coastal and internal areas with a probability of fog or mist formation by morning – fair to partly cloudy – probability of some convective cloud formation Eastward by afternoon with fall in temperature.
WIND: Light to moderate Northwesterly winds, freshening at times, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40kmph.
SEA: Moderate to rough Westward in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea.
