The Abu Dhabi Media Office shared a video on X, which included advice to ensure the safety of citizens, residents, and visitors in Abu Dhabi during the expected adverse weather conditions.
In the video, the authority called on the people in Abu Dhabi to keep away from valleys, beaches, and ponds.
Additionally, it called on drivers to abide by the modified speed limits as indicated on traffic signage.
It also mentioned that first aid kits should be prepared in advance in case of emergencies.
Furthermore, it noted that alternative light sources, such as flashlights and candles, should be ready in case of a power cut.
It pointed out that all loose materials should be firmly secured to ensure they would not blow away with strong winds.
Finally, it stressed that routine maintenance should be performed on electrical equipment, connections, and fittings.
