ABU DHABI (WAM)

The Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination (ZHO) signed a joint cooperation agreement with Ittihad International Investment LLC and its subsidiaries to train and integrate People of Determination into the workforce.

Inked on the sidelines of the World Congress on Rehabilitation 2024 (WCR 2024) in Abu Dhabi, the agreement includes the organisation nominating 150 People of Determination over two years for employment in Ittihad International Investment and its subsidiaries.

The company will also support and sponsor productive workshops at the organisation and is committed to providing training for the nominated candidates and offering annual financial support to the organisation as part of its corporate social responsibility towards People of Determination.

The agreement was signed by Abdullah Al Humaidan, Secretary-General of ZHO, and Amer Fayez Kaqish, CEO of Ittihad International Investment LLC.

The signing ceremony was attended by several senior officials from both parties.

Under the agreement, ZHO will provide awareness and training programmes for employees of Ittihad International Investment and its subsidiaries.

The company will offer workshops and appropriate spaces if needed, supplying all raw materials and equipment for the workshops, as well as a technician to guide the use of machines and equipment.

Additionally, the ZHO will coordinate with the company to produce an agreed-upon model for sewing uniforms and skilled labour clothing annually at the organisation’s workshops.

Furthermore, ZHO will be given priority in supplying certain goods, as agreed upon, whenever it is practical and appropriate, as part of the company’s social responsibility.
