ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

In line with the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security's (ICP) decision to grant a two-month grace period starting September 1, 2024 for violators of entry and residence rules, the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi has announced to waive health insurance fines for the violators.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the DoH said that in line with the ICP's recent decision to grant a two-month grace period for violators, starting from September 1 until October 30, 2024, to adjust their status, the DoH is offering a waiver of health insurance fines for the violators, provided their requests for status adjustment are approved by the Federal Authority.

The department urged all violators to seize this opportunity to obtain approval and renew or secure a health insurance policy, reinforcing its commitment to ensuring healthcare services are accessible to all members of Abu Dhabi's community.
