Emirati Women's Day is an occasion to celebrate the nation's strides in advancing women's role, said medical professionals at M42, a leading global health-tech powerhouse.
Aisha Al Marshoodi, Manager of Human Capital at the Capital Health Screening Centre under M42, views Emirati Women's Day as a celebration of the progress, excellence, and extraordinary potential of women in the UAE who are actively shaping the future.

"Empowered women help strengthen the world. Emirati Women's Day is a celebration of our commitment to progress and excellence. I am proud to play a role in shaping and recognising the potential and extraordinary accomplishments of women who are redefining the future," Al Marshoodi told Aletihad.
Dr. Sara Haboosh Al Hebshi, Consultant in Endocrinology at the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, pointed out that this day praises the resilience of women and the influential role mothers play in one's journey to success.

"Thanks to my mother's unwavering support and belief in me and my dreams, I am empowered as a female physician. On Emirati Women's Day, let us celebrate the resilience of women in medicine and honour the influential role our mothers have in our journey to success," she said.
Al Hebshi added: "To all Emirati women, I am proud to be one of you. Let us cherish every step of our unique journeys, for each of us holds unparalleled power."
Dr. Bashaer Gheyath, Consultant Cardiologist at Healthpoint, commented that this day embodies women's power to create, nurture, and transform.
"Emirati Women's Day not only celebrates us but also highlights the Emirati woman as a symbol of strength and potential; within her lies the power to create, nurture, and transform. As Emirati women in healthcare, we have the privilege to positively impact lives and make a real difference every day. Alongside this, we fuel the dreams of future generations of Emirati women to pursue their aspirations, no matter how big they seem," she said.
