TRENDS Research & Advisory hosted His Excellency Warren King, Deputy Ambassador of the Commonwealth of Australia to the UAE, at its head office in Abu Dhabi for a dialogue session, Scientific Research: A Global Partnership Towards a Sustainable Future.
The session featured a productive dialogue on enhancing research collaboration between TRENDS and research centers in Australia and discussions on the latest developments in renewable energy, smart agriculture, and technological innovation.
The session highlighted the role of scientific research in advancing these fields, emphasizing the importance of investing in research and development and the exchange of expertise and knowledge between academic and research institutions.
His Excellency the Australian Deputy Ambassador praised TRENDS' research efforts and global vision, underscoring the importance of scientific research in understanding and anticipating developments and events. He noted that scientific research is a fundamental pillar in his country’s relations with the UAE.
He stated that Australia has extensive experience in scientific research and is keen to share it with TRENDS to contribute to innovative solutions for global challenges.
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory, affirmed the Center’s commitment to enhancing research and scientific collaboration with Australian research centers, noting that this dialogue session crowns a series of initiatives launched by the Center to strengthen strategic partnerships. He also praised the close cooperation between TRENDS and the Australian Embassy.
Both sides agreed that intensifying joint efforts to launch constructive research initiatives, exchange researchers, and organise joint workshops and scientific conferences is crucial.
