ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)
The Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority shared the steps to be taken in case of an electric bike fire.
In a post on X, the authority noted that the first thing to do evacuate the area.
"If the battery or bike catches fire, immediately move away from the area and contact the appropriate authorities."
The authority stressed that water should be avoided in such cases as "it could worsen the fire."
The post reminded citizens, residents, and visitors not to hesitate to contact 999 in case of emergencies for help or accurate information.
