The UAE Government Media Office shared a post on its official X account which read, "The visit of H.E. Gabriel Boric, President of Chile, to the UAE and his meeting with H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, mark a key moment in enhancing strategic relations under the comprehensive economic partnership agreement."
The text was accompanied by an infographic that included the following information:
- $750 million is the projected increase in non-oil bilateral trade by 2023 due to the agreement.
- $306 million is the value of bilateral trade between the two countries in 2023.
- 26 percent increase in non-oil trade between the two countries from January to the end of April 2024.
- "Bi-Oceanic Corridor" declaration cooperation with South American countries to enhance regional trade.
