The Fatima bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy has partnered with the Abu Dhabi Racket Club to promote women’s participation in racket sports within the Abu Dhabi community.
The collaboration aims to increase community engagement in racket sports and create a positive social impact, in line with the strategic objectives of both organisations.
Talal Mustafa Al Hashemi, Board Member of the Fatima bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy, said: "The agreement underscores the significant attention given to Emirati women in our beloved country to engage in various sports activities, and emphasises the commitment to developing women's sports in the UAE, and ensuring all necessary provisions for it.
He added: "We commit to advancing sports excellence and providing an optimal environment for Emirati women to develop, compete, and gain experience alongside various athletes, reflecting the vision and guidance of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, and Mother of the Nation."
