ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

The Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET) organised a graduation ceremony for 644 high school students for the Academic Year 2023-2024 from the Applied Technology Schools, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra campuses. The ceremony took place at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.

His Excellency Dr Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, Director General of ACTVET, said: "Since the establishment of our schools, we have managed to graduate more than 20,000 students, each one being a role model in their field. Some have been accepted into prestigious international universities, while others have chosen outstanding national colleges such as Khalifa Air College, Zayed Military School, and the Police College, clearly reflecting the quality of education at Applied Technology Schools."

The graduation ceremony featured a video showcasing the schools and their achievements, the recital of the loyalty oath to the UAE. Among the attendees at the graduation ceremony were His Excellency Dr Muhammed bin Ibrahim Al-Mualla, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Academic Affairs for Higher Education; His Excellency Dr Saif Saeed Al Qubaisi, Chairman of the Gas Safety Committee and Acting Director General for the Regulatory Affairs Sector at the Department of Energy; and His Excellency Fahad Ghareeb Al Shamsi, Executive Director of Support Services Sector at Abu Dhabi Customs, along with other officials and the families of the graduates.

The ATS is a leading educational institution in the UAE, offering a high-level curriculum through three distinct tracks: the Advanced Science Programme, the Advanced Track, and the General Track. The tracks are designed to meet the students' interests and support their career goals in various fields, including applied engineering, health sciences, computing, artificial intelligence, and engineering.
