ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

The UAE’s National Centre for Meteorology (NCM) issued a weather forecast for Saturday, June 29, until Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

Saturday
WEATHER: Humid by morning over some areas, especially coastal areas, with a chance of fog or mist formation. Fair to partly cloudy at times, with low clouds appearing over the East Coast. A chance of some convective cloud formation over the mountains might be associated with rainfall.

WIND: Light to moderate northwesterly winds, freshening at times causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40kmph.

SEA: Slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.

Sunday

WEATHER: Humid by morning over some coastal areas with a probability of mist formation. Fair to partly cloudy at times, with low clouds appearing over the East Coast.

WIND: Light to moderate northwesterly to northeasterly winds, freshening at times during daytime, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 35kmph.

SEA: Slight in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

Monday
WEATHER: Partly cloudy to cloudy at times eastward and southward with a gradual increase in temperatures.

WIND: Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly winds, freshening at times during daytime, causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40kmph.

SEA: Slight in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

Tuesday

WEATHER: Partly cloudy to cloudy at times eastward and southward.

WIND: Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly winds, freshening during daytime, causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40kmph.

SEA: Slight in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

Wednesday

WEATHER: By morning, some coastal areas will be humid, with a probability of mist formation. The weather will be dusty to partly cloudy, with a decrease in temperatures, especially over the coasts.

WIND: Light to moderate northwesterly winds, becoming fresh to strong at times, especially over the sea, causing blowing dust and sand, with a speed of 15 – 25 reaching 45kmph.

SEA: Slight to moderate, becoming gradually rough by morning in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
