The Dubai Police, represented by Al Qusais Police Station, the Positive Spirit Council, and the Dubai Police Health Centre, recently collaborated with the Navi Sports Club to implement the 'Every Drop Counts' blood donation campaign.

The goal is to promote a culture of voluntary blood donation among community members.

Notably, a total of 120 donors of different nationalities took part in the initiative.

Director of the Positive Spirit Council, Fatima Buhajeer, stressed the importance of blood donation and the need for community-wide participation in this humanitarian initiative.

She further emphasised the value of enhancing humanitarian efforts that save lives, strengthen public health, and foster community partnership.

"Officers, non-commissioned officers, civilians, and individuals from diverse backgrounds participated in the blood donation campaign, recognising it as a national duty. This benefits the donors and those in need and reinforces the culture of social solidarity, voluntary work, and the noble humanitarian goals of strengthening community partnerships," she added.

The Positive Spirit volunteers spoke to attendees about the various health benefits of blood donation to raise awareness and encourage participation.

Additionally, volunteers offered personalised advice, conducted medical examinations, and provided medical recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
